Privacy Policy

RemixMyLife ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple user ID and, on first sign-in, your email address and name (if you choose to share them). We store this to identify your account and to deliver your daily remix.

Photos — selected only. We do not scan, index, or store your full photo library. Our app selects up to 30 photos from your device using entirely on-device processing. Only the single photo chosen for transformation on a given day is ever uploaded to our servers. After transformation is complete, the original photo is permanently deleted from our storage.

Photo metadata. For each photo selected for your queue, we store: the date it was taken, GPS coordinates (if present in the photo's EXIF data), whether it is marked as a Favorite in your library, and a quality score derived from its resolution. We never store image data for photos that are not selected.

Delivery preferences. Your chosen delivery time, timezone, and email address for receiving remixes.

Subscription status. Whether you are in a free trial, active subscription, or expired state. All payment processing is handled by Apple — we never see or store your payment information.

Usage data. Basic operational data such as when your daily remix was delivered. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To select and transform one photo per day into AI-generated art
• To deliver your daily remix to your email address at your chosen time
• To manage your subscription and trial period
• To display your remix history in the in-app gallery

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate RemixMyLife:

• Supabase — database and file storage (United States). Privacy Policy
• fal.ai — AI image transformation. Your selected photo is sent to fal.ai solely for processing and is not retained by them after the transformation completes. Privacy Policy
• Resend — transactional email delivery. Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat — subscription management. RevenueCat receives your Apple user ID to track entitlements. Privacy Policy
• Apple — authentication and payment processing. Privacy Policy

4. Data Retention

Transformed remix images are stored so you can view your gallery history in the app. Original photos uploaded for transformation are deleted immediately after the remix is generated. Photo metadata for selected photos is retained until you delete your account.

5. Your Rights

You may at any time:

• Access your data — view all your remixes and account information in the app
• Update your information — change your email or delivery preferences in Settings
• Delete your account — Settings → Delete My Account permanently deletes your account, all stored photo metadata, and all remix images from our servers
• Revoke photo access — revoke the app's access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos
• Opt out of emails — contact us at support@remixmylife.app to stop receiving daily remix emails

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), California, or another jurisdiction with applicable privacy legislation, you may have additional rights. Please contact us to exercise them.

6. Children's Privacy

RemixMyLife is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted transit (TLS), row-level security policies on our database, and private storage buckets. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
