Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RemixMyLife mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by RemixMyLife ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Account

You sign in using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID. You agree to notify us immediately at support@remixmylife.app if you believe your account has been compromised. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Free trial. New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to the Service. No charge is made until the trial ends and you choose to subscribe.

Paid subscriptions. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription (monthly or annual). Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. Prices are displayed in the app before purchase.

Renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone.

Refunds. All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices with reasonable advance notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal.

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of your photos. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your selected photos solely for the purpose of generating your daily remix. We do not claim ownership of your photos or the AI-generated remixes derived from them.

You represent that you have the right to use the photos you submit — that they are photos you took or own, or that you have permission from all relevant rights holders to process them through our Service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service to process photos you do not own or have rights to
Submit photos containing illegal content, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or exploit the Service
Use automated means to access the Service beyond normal app usage
Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable law

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. AI-Generated Content

Remixes are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for personal enjoyment. AI generation is inherently variable — results may not perfectly represent the described style or the subjects in the original photo. We do not guarantee any specific artistic outcome.

The AI-generated remix images we create for you are yours to keep and share. We ask that you credit RemixMyLife when sharing publicly, though this is not required.

7. Service Availability

We aim to deliver one remix per day but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Factors outside our control — including third-party AI service availability, network conditions, or device issues — may occasionally delay or prevent delivery. We will not provide credits or refunds for missed deliveries due to service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

8. Intellectual Property

The RemixMyLife app, brand, logo, and all content we create (excluding your photos and remixes) are our intellectual property. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, REMIXMYLIFE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, by sending an email to your registered address. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
